B.A (Hons.) -

Subject Combination Option :
B.A Honours in the following Subjects : English, Bengali, History, Geography, Sanskrit, Political Science, and Sociology. Student opting for any of the Honours Subjects are required to study TWO subsidiary Subjects (G1) and (G2) accordingly Semester I / III and Semester II /IV and may take anyone Subject from following Two Subject groups as combination.

Group: 1 - Bengali / Economics / Education / Sanskrit / Journalism & Mass Communication

Group: 2 - History / Sociology / Political Science / Geography / Philosophy / Mathematics

i) History (Hons.) students cannot take History as a combination subject (G1 / G2)
ii) Bengali (Hons.) students cannot take Bengali as a combination subject (G1 / G2).
iii) English (Hons.) students cannot take English as a combination subject (G1 / G2).
iv) Geography (Hons.) students cannot take Geography as a combination subject (G1 / G2).
v) Sanskrit (Hons.) students cannot take Sanskrit as a combination subject (G1 / G2).
vi) Political Science (Hons.) students cannot take Political Science as a combination subject(G1 / G2).
vii) Sociology (Hons.) students cannot take Sociology as a combination subject(G1 / G2).

Note :

Compulsory Subject - Semester - I AECC 1 ( ENVS ) and Semester - II (MIL ) i.e. Bengali / Hindi / Urdu / Communicative English

B.A. (General) -

Subjects offered: Bengali, English, History, Sociology, Economics, Political Science, Geography, Education and Philosophy. A students opting for three Year B.A. General Courses is required to study, Two subjects from the following subjects groups as combination G1 and G2 for Semester I.

Group:1 - Bengali / Economics / Education / Sanskrit / Journalism & Mass Communication

Group:2 - History / Sociology / Political Science / Geography / Philosophy / Mathematics.

Compulsory Subject - Semester - I / III (L1) - English and Semester - II / IV (L2) - Bengali / Urdu / Hindi.

Semester - I AECC 1 ( ENVS ):

B.Com (Hons.) -

The College offers Honours in Accountancy in Commerece. Students opting for the Homours are required to study the following Subjects in 1st Year Hons.

Subjects : (1) Financial Accounting (2) Cost Accounting

General Subjects : (1) Economic Principles and Indian Economics Problems (2) Management Theory and Practice + Compulsory Languages

B.Com (General) -

A student opting for Three Year B.Com General Courses is required to study the following subjects :

1. Economic Principles and Indian Economics Problems
2. Management Theory and Practice
3. Financial Accounting + Compulsory Languages - Semester - I AECC 1 ( ENVS ) + Semester - I / III (L1) - English
